$28.47!?!
I’ve had a taste for root beer lately, (and cream soda, and green river, etc…) So I was happy when I found a site that sells A&W Root Beer in the UK, till I realized they sold it for 14 pounds and 95 pence! For 24 cans! AHHHHhhhhhhh! I mean when I think of the cost for a bottle of Swiss Cream Soda (oh, swiss-cream-soda-mmmm) is like a dollar. This crazy, crazy talk I tell you. I love Britain but what does have against root beer? Oh root beer how I miss ye.

I lament the British lack of root beer, too. I've got mildly vivid recollections of McDonald's serving it. You can get some poor substitute at £1.28 for 6 at ASDA, though. If you want, I'll bring some down next time I visit. God only knows when that will be.
This is how we in the states feel about "Italian Blood Orange Juice" which to date I have only been able to find at Tesco. I tell you it's sad that at the very top of my list of things to do while in the UK, pack as much Blood Orange Juice as your suitcase can hold. It's sad but we all have our guilty pleasures...
