Virtual Memory Lane

Thanks to the wonder that is the inter-web seemingly anything I think of from my childhood I can now see again. From favorite clips from sesame street to school house rock episodes to theme songs from some of my favorite Tv shows. For example every Thanksgiving due to a 30 straight hour marathon of Mystery Science Theater 3000 I sing the same song over and over in my head for days surrounding Thanksgiving. Luckily You Tube allows me to purge.

Also Things I remember, due to the power of my memory, and then repeat to people and they think I'm crazy that ever such thing existed, well now I can go on to You Tube and say HA! You see there was a cartoon about an 80's rock band featuring the guy who played cousin Oliver from the Brady Bunch, that went in to a garage and started playing then this cartoon guy called Fat Cat appeared in the mirror and sucked them into the 'Flip Side' turning them (and their truck) into cartoons to be his musical slaves when a fairy in leg warmers saved them by sneezing. I'm not making this shit up! I can also look up a local band done good (on a treadmill.)

Also I found a book I read in second grade. Even though it was 1985 I still remember it, and now thanks to the WWW I can buy it on-line for .32 cents. Thank you computer web!

You are quite right. Thanks for Youtube I can sob into my mug of tea in reverential memory of the most wonderful Animalympics and remember what it used to be like to be six.
