I was very excited to find this little pretty waiting for me on my local Sainsbury's grocery isle. Root beer you say, how lucky of you (unless you're British and for some reason are convinced it taste like dental mouth wash - is this perhaps the reason for the Big Book of British Smiles?) Well yes I was excited and promptly bought said product. Sitting down with the new Harry Potter and a frosty glass of root beer I took a savoring sip only to find my main beef with the frosty beverage industry in Britain it had SWEETENERS! They need to put warnings on these things, you know like DIET or CONTAINS NO SUGAR - TASTE LIKE CRAP. Have I ever in my life bought a diet A&W, what is going to make me start now? I don't have many vices but really is it so bad to ask for a sugary frosty carbonated beverage? Really give some warning too. The thing that
really peeves me off is when they have sweeteners AND sugar. Hmmm all the benefits of sugar with all the taste of sweetener. Why, why, why why whywhywhywhywhywhy?
WHY?
