Shout-out to the East Side...of England

I woke up at three in the morning (Greenish Mean Time) which as one who values sleep high on the priorities of life (and I was having a vivid dream about beautiful moths landing on the bottom of my feet) it was odd for me to get up. But you see it was only nine at night (Central Studded Time) in Chicago and my good friends the Dolphins of Damnation were on the radio.

They’re phones weren’t working so I sent a message over this here horseless typewriter, and well not since a college radio station in Kirksville Missouri in ‘97 I got a shout out and a round of applause – which does funny things to your head at three in the morning. I felt like I had spent an hour hanging out with friends, just sitting there, not saying much, but I was really alone in a room, thousands of miles away, and in sweatpants. (I try not to hang out in sweatpants – it lowers the tone.) The show is Love Bytes and is hosted by my friend Emily – who I first went to the Buckfastleigh Butterfly/Otter Sanctuary with. Emily has a very special message to me, which if you know me it makes sense. So give a listen, I appear as the second ghost at about 24 minutes in. (24 min, 50 sec.)

Massively enjoyed the re-telling of your Norwich beeer festival evening. ALthough I was clued up on that, it still stood a retread. Always good. I don't think I should write that much here during the festival season. It doesn't seem right. I also feel very absent in my own town. I blame me mostly. No, check that. I blame me wholly.
Also, it snowed! Yaya. I bet the dog looks good in the snow.
