What a Week

Right I need to update this sucker more then once a week, to stop this ‘where do I start?’ feeling I get. We’ll start with Chris, since my last post he has been stuck on any army camp, stopped some fights, been kidnapped, then rescued, Costessey has been on the front of the Evening News for fighting, came home, explored the abandoned gutted house next door, slept a lot, explored the house next door again, out to see all his LLT friends at Take 5 (including Gareth and Lizzy), got shorts at Primark, then raced Dan home (Dan on bike – us in Ginger Chris’ car), Dan won, slept more, went with Dave to strange party on other side of city with a very interesting group of people mostly from Folkston, walked back through Riverside (which on a Saturday night is always like a bad dream), got the bus, then back to Tom and Faye’s for a lovely party, slept some more at the party, went home, slept, got up, had Gareth in the house, explored the house next door again, had pancakes, Ginger Chris and Faye came over, explored the house next door again, wanted to sleep some more, went to Somerfield instead, Dave came over, went and saw and enjoyed Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, followed the eerie over powering sounds of Elton John drifting down the deserted Norwich streets (he was playing at the football stadium), chased after the sound by running through random tree line we did not know existed, went and picked up some Chinese food, stopped at fellow teachers house for a cup of tea, came home, wanted to sleep, ironed, packed, left at two o’clock in the morning for Rome.

So that was Chris’s week, mine well there has been some interesting stuff – like my interview – Sara Ledger calling the police because she found a bone next door - my bus being under attack – a paranoid schizophrenic criminal living next door - going to three birthday parties - having to call the police on the paranoid schizophrenic criminal living next door - and the fact that I’ve been banished to the Castle Mall for the next two weeks because there is a beautiful baby competition. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to explain it all real soon, but for now know that I got the job. Woo and indeed hoo!
