My belly button is ever so slightly smelly. What is the proverbial up with that? I mean I showered last night and have none nothing to bring forth such funkyness. Don't worry I've already already washed the unsightliness away with fine imported French soap. But really why does this happen? I mean all I did last night was go to my super-secret club, that I'm not supposed to tell anyone I belong to it. But then who cares. I'm part of nightline, the charity that sits around all night eating biscuits and taking phone calls from people wanting to talk about problems and such stuff. But only one person called the whole night and I spent most of the night talking to some one I think wanted to practice their listen skills. I mean I do not like the sound of my own voice, but I found myself blabbing away to this poor girl just to fill the awkward silence. I think she was creeped out with how old I am. In the words of Neil "Old and ugly."
On other new I just found out that my last name is from North German: nickname or metonymic occupational name for a grower of soft fruits, from Low German "plum". I'm sure there is a joke in there somewhere. And there where 32 to 77 families of the same name in America in 1925. Most would you believe in Illinois. Check out your name and history at http://landing.msn.ancestry.com/article/meaningofnames.aspx and leave a comment letting me know what your name means. Come on share with the class.

I'm an Outhwaite by heritage and was vaguely/pleasantly surprised to see there was about 10 such Outhwaites in the US in the survey.
There were millions of my real surname, so that was beyond tedium, really.
Although I though mine meant something tedious, like son of lee, it actually comes from latin lettice. Meaning happiness, or gaeity.Draw your own conclusions.
Favorite Surname meaning I found was that of my little half sister: Polish: from paluch ‘thumb’ (augmentative of palec ‘finger’), hence a nickname used to denote a small person or a dwarf, or possibly a descriptive nickname for someone with a deformed or missing thumb.
